Visa Information

Citizens of certain countries are required to obtain a visa to enter Japan. Please check the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (MOFA) to know if you need to obtain a visa and the visa application procedures:

Exemption of Visa (Short-Term Stay)

The organizer will provide assistance to prepare the document for visa application only for registrants who paid assembly registration fee. (If you accompany someone, they have to take tourist visa by themselves.)
And the period of your stay must be scheduled for a maximum of 10 days (including conference period (6 days), arriving day (2days) and departing day (2 days) in Japan).
Before you apply for assistance, you are required to take the following steps.

  1. Complete your assembly registration with full payment of the assembly registration fee from following link

    * If you already get your user account, please log-in with your Login ID and password and proceed assembly registration and payment.
  2. Book a Flight
  3. Reserve a Hotel
  4. Download visa application form by clicking “Visa application” button on the main menu in your account after log-in from following link < >.
    * Please note that the button of “Visa application” will NOT appear until you complete your assembly registration and payment.
  5. Submit filled visa application form to IAG-IASPEI2017 Visa Support Office ( by e-mail.
  6. IAG-IASPEI2017 Visa Support Office will issue the document for visa application and sent you by EMS after May 1, 2017.

* If you need invitation letter from IAG-IASPEI2017 other than visa purpose, please also send visa application form to IAG-IASPEI2017 Visa Support Office ( by e-mail.

* Please note that all the documents will be issued after May 1, 2017 (three months before the Conference.) since the validity of a visa is three months.
